April 2021 - Volume 10, Issue 9
Message from the Superintendent
It is hard to believe that we only have a little more than two months left in the 2020-2021 school year! We continue to appreciate the efforts of our students, parents, teachers, school leaders, and staff members in maintaining safe and academically focused learning environments.
Congratulations to the Gulf Coast High School Sharks for their recent championship win at the 2020-2021 High School Debate Competition! The Middle School Debate Competition is set for later this month, as well as Scholar Bowl and many STEAM-related competitions. A big "GOOD LUCK" to all of our student-competitors!
While CCPS has been hosting honors band, orchestra, and chorus concerts for many years, we are pleased to now offer the opportunity to watch these wonderful events online! Catch our next Honors Concert Series event on April 30th at 6:30pm featuring our exceptional middle school honors band students. You will be able to watch live on The Education Channel (channel 99), online at collierschools.com, or from the CCPS mobile app.
A quick reminder to parents about our Virtual Flyers online platform. Virtual Flyers contain information about out-of-school activities, information, and events. It is updated on the first of each month and can be accessed by visiting www.collierschools.com/virtualflyers.
Happy April!
