Welcome to Fall! South Florida may not have leaves that change color during this time of year but we can certainly make meaningful study of Florida’s weather and climate. The geography and environment had a strong impact on the early inhabitants of Florida. Analyzing primary sources like maps and images are a great way to teach about Florida’s geography, early Native American cultures, and Spanish explorers. Remember to teach to reach!
