Welcome to the first issue of our 8th grade Science Newsletter! Each month we will highlight the standards and units to be taught, formative assessment probes, 5E lessons, key vocabulary, inquiry based activities including CER and ADI, as well as engagement and science literacy strategies. We hope you will find this information useful as you plan standards based, targeted lessons for your students. All topics are linked so you can spend more time planning instead of searching. Enjoy!
