Message from Principal Sarah Woofter
" We are thrilled to welcome all of our Otters to Herbert Cambridge Elementary! As a Leader In Me school, we will continue to foster leadership skills for all of our students to ensure they are college, career, and life ready. The staff at HCE is passionate about helping each student reach his or her Wildly Important Goals (WIGs), both in academics and in their personal growth. Together, we are working to create a welcoming, supportive, and safe environment where all students can thrive. Our families provide an important voice in our school community! We look forward to providing many opportunities for families to be involved through School Advisory Council (SAC), Parent Lighthouse Team, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Starters and a variety of other school activities. Our website will be a great source of information about what is happening at HCE. I am honored to be leading this new adventure at Herbert Cambridge Elementary and know that working together with our students, families, and community members, we are going to do great things! "
