Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to announce the District has earned an “A” rating for the 2024-2025 school year from the Florida Department of Education. CCPS is the only district in Southwest Florida to earn an “A” rating, and CCPS is one of only 28 Florida districts rated as an “A”. Furthermore, CCPS moved up to sixth in the State from seventh last year (out of 67 school districts). |
|
Of Florida districts, only one district larger or comparable in student population scored higher than CCPS, and no district with a comparable percentage of English Language Learners (ELL) students scored as high as CCPS. |
|
Of our traditional public schools, 50 of 51 (98%) CCPS schools earned an “A” or “B” rating, and none earned a grade of D or F. Of note, 12 schools improved their grades from a “B” to an “A,” including:
- Corkscrew Middle School
- Cypress Palm Middle School
- Golden Gate Middle School
- Lely High School
- Manatee Middle School
- Mike Davis Elementary School
- Naples High School
- Palmetto Elementary School
- Parkside Elementary School
- Poinciana Elementary School
- Sabal Palm Elementary School
- Shadowlawn Elementary School
Additionally, three schools, Avalon Elementary School, Immokalee Middle School and Lake Trafford Elementary School improved their grades from a “C” to a “B.”

|
A district grade may include up to twelve components: achievement, learning gains, middle school acceleration, graduation rate, and college and career acceleration. CCPS increased performance in nine components and maintained prior year performance in the remaining three. (See Table 1 in 2025 Accountability Brief) |

“Our theme for the 2024–25 school year was ‘Building on Success,’ and I could not be prouder of the incredible accomplishments of our students, teachers, school administrators, and District staff. I also want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our entire school district community—parents, business partners, and community members. Together, CCPS truly embodied the spirit of our theme! Our schools continue to exceed expectations, providing countless opportunities for student growth and achievement. These outstanding school and district grades are a powerful reflection of our shared commitment to excellence. This success belongs to all of us, and we can celebrate it with pride.” - Dr. Leslie C. Ricciardelli, Superintendent |
