100 Ways to Promote Character Education

Tips for Promoting Character Education at Home

Character Council of Collier County Resources
The Character Education Council of Collier County is composed of civic minded individuals, local educators and business leaders dedicated to establishing a 'Community of Character' in Collier. They have developed a curriculum guide containing many great activities and have listed resources by individual Character trait. They have also donated the CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE posters which the district supports being made available to schools and classrooms. 'The Circle' is actually a calendar that may be moved and various traits discussed on a monthly basis with students. Each month highlights the instructional focus for that period of time. Persons wanting to obtain a copy of their curriculum or who desire more information may contact Dr. Leonard D. Ferenz at Hodges University at lferenz@hodges.edu.
